Smile that lasts FOREVER

Smile that lasts FOREVER

Did you know when you smile, your brain releases neuropeptides. If you're like me you're probably asking what are neuropeptides. Well, they are tiny molecules that help fight off stress. Then other neurotransmitters kick in like dopamine, serotonin and endorphins. The endorphins act as a mild pain reliever, whereas the serotonin is an antidepressant. Some studies suggest that smiling can help us recover faster from stress and reduce our heart rate. There’s been some evidence that forcing a smile can still bring you a boost in your mood and happiness level. So next time, put on that "Fake Smile" and see what results you get. If you are suffering from depression or anxiety you should talk to your physician immediately.

"Life is like a mirror,

smile at it and it

smiles back at you"

Happiness is what makes us smile. Trick your brain into believing you’re happy which can then spur actual feelings of happiness. There's a study of how the brain is connected to the immune system, asserting that it has been shown “over and over again” that depression weakens your immune system, while happiness on the other hand has been shown to boost our body’s resistance.

And we all know that is essential during this past year. Try to do things that make you happy, exercise a little more than you usually do, give yourself some "me time" and most of all give yourself a break. YOU deserve it.

I want to end this little message of mine with a final thought. I think I speak for most of us, when I say that when I look into the mirror and see my skin look dehydrated and tired, it brings me down. I try to keep my regular skincare routine on spot. Using my OxyDerm and the Hydra Skin Mask at least twice a week. They leave my skin refreshed and radiant. Make sure you do what is best for you, that will keep you in a good and healthy mood.
