I have used over 20 different types of skin scrubbers or spatula's on my clients and for sure the easiest to use, and the one that provides the best results is teispa's. Its easy to use, one charge lasts me the whole day. my clients feel no pain or pressure and it sure is better than finger extractions. Using the Skin Spatula is like having your own in-house esthetician! Your skin will feel the softest it’s ever felt – it’s really amazing. And, you can also use it for extractions! I’m already obsessed with squeezing gunk out of my pores.

OMG you guys. Seriously. This product is freaking amazing.

When TEI Spa asked me to review their Skin Spatula, I was interested, but skeptical about seeing immediate results. Boy, was I wrong! Basically, the Skin Spatula is a device that uses ultrasonic (sound) waves to exfoliate skin, removing dirt and impurities. It also uses ultrasound to push gels and serums into the skin for better absorption. This is a professional product that is affordable enough to use at home.

HOW IT WORKS: Ultrasonic waves penetrate the tissue of the skin causing the enlargement of the space between the cells. The vibration speed and spatula tip direct the waves to push out impurities or push in ingredients. As the skin cells vibrate the tissue and pores become softened extracting out environmental toxins, oil and makeup. The energy of the ultrasonic waves also help brighten and even skin tone. On the flip side, the spatula helps absorption of your water or gel-based products with the same sonic push, giving you double action in one tool.

Using the Skin Spatula is like having your own in-house esthetician! Your skin will feel the softest it’s ever felt – it’s really amazing. And, you can also use it for extractions! I’m already obsessed with squeezing gunk out of my pores (and my boyfriend’s pores if he’ll let me). I know it’s gross, but it just fascinates me. When I was a young kid, I would let ants bite me so I could pop the bites! (My mom put an end to that as soon as she realized what I was doing!)

So, here’s what you do:

Cleanse and dry your face. It’s really beneficial to use the Skin Spatula after a shower, so your pores are nice and open.
Spritz your face with Energized Rosewater Mist (or regular water). Remember to keep your face wet at all times for it to work. Glide the Skin Spatula across your face. If you do this in a magnifying mirror, you can actually see the gunk coming out! After every swipe, wipe the spatula with a tissue.
To do extractions, push the spatula against the pore. Wait a few seconds and then push gently from the other side. The gunk will pop right out!
I like to wash my face again after exfoliating.
Dry your face and apply your favorite non-oily gel or serum - don’t skimp on the amount because you want to keep your face wet. Use the OPPOSITE side and the second setting to smooth the gel into your skin.
Apply your regular moisturizer if you wish. Now, try to stop touching your baby-smooth skin – I dare ya! (Posted on 4/22/11)

I love the Skin Spatula tool for myself,my pores are smaller and skin just looks nicer in general and the Oxyderm works great for my daughter, she is experiencing much less problems with acne and oily skin.

I love this product because i have a lot of black heads and large pores. I am able to use the skin spatula to literally scoop out the impurities in all those hard to reach places. it works great, doesnt hurt and teh next morning i have gorgeous skin! (Posted on 7/14/10)
